Collinson 60s Large 51in Artist Restoration

Very large original Collinson & Sons rocking horse.

59" length by 51" height

One owner since the sixties*, now lightly but lovingly restored by an artist, with brand new rich-wine (original pattern) corduroy saddle seat, replacement of upper original vinyl flaps with genuine thick tan leather, alongside the bridle, martingale and crupper all replaced with genuine thick leather.

The stand has been gently sanded back to wood and oiled twice with danish oil.

The metalwork has been re-enamelled using the original colours and 3 striking new hand-made rosettes. 

The horse has been finished with 4 coats of hard wearing varnish and is absolutely tough and ready to ride.
