Rare G & J Lines deer hide-covered rocking horse.

This fabulous Lines horse stands 44 inches tall, and has the remnants of his padded leather saddle and some of his saddle cloth. His bridle is complete with original bit, though his reins seem to be a later replacement. His cow-hair mane and tail are original too, as is his safety rocker.

This old gentleman bears the Caledonian Thistle emblem on his safety base, dating him to around 1910. The hide-covered Lines horses were their 'top of the range' model, costing a significant premium over their other horses.
