GALLERY PICS:
Here are some lovely original paint rocking horses some have had minor restoration to enable them to keep their original looks and patina.
First is a very rare Paul Leach horse. Not seen very often especially with its orginal paint. A very lovely specimen. We have the Ayres plain carved, he still has the remains of his leather saddle and tack, next we have the lightly restored Ayres by David Kiss, he still has the original saddle and with his new mane and tail looks very nice, then we have a Lines horse from the Jubilee era of Queen Victoria this was lightly restored by Stevenson Bros and retains its very original fine looks. Then we have a very rare Norton & Barker in orginal condition he has just had a nice saddle and saddle cloth. Sitting behind him is a very nice orginal Baby Carriages Rambler Horse. Again he has been lightly restored retaining his orginal paint. Then we have another Ayres horse still with its saddle and orginal paint probably waiting for a new mane and tail when it goes to a new owner who will be able to keep it like it is or pick the colour required. Also the Lines brown original paint lightly restored with his orginal removable saddle.
